This receiver is in perfect working condition on all bands, all modes, and
is the more desirable, more difficult to find Allied version of the SX-190
(not the Radio Shack or the "Realistic" version of the SX-190).
Coverage is in nine 500 kHz bands: 3.5-4.0, 5.7-6.2, 7.0-7.5, 9.5-10.0,
11.5-12.0, 14.0-14.5, 15.0-15.5, 17.5-18.0 and 27.0-27.5. There are also
sockets and bandswitch positions for two additional crystals for additional
coverage of the user's choice. The analog dial is linear and has 1 kHz dial
resolution. The tuning mechanism is as smooth as butter. It has a crystal
filter, a Q-multiplier, and 25kHz and 100kHz marker crystal calibrator
oscillators.
